Working for the UK's leader within operational service and support to the onshore pipeline sector an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Operations Technician to join their established, operational team in the Slough area has arisen.

As the Mechanical Operations Technician you will be responsible for:

Monitoring, inspection and maintenance of major accident hazard pipeline.

Operational duties associated with pipeline pumping and rail head loading.

Supervising rail operation train delivery, inspection and despatch procedures.

Maintaining operational site and pipeline inspection and maintenance schedules and records.

Performing duties in accordance with the disposal system and schedules.

Supervising colleagues and contractors in safe systems of work including risk assessment and testing procedures.

Responding to emergency situations and liaising with emergency authorities and statutory bodies.

To be successful as the Mechanical Operations Technician you will have:

Previous experience within a mechanical maintenance role.

Operational experience within the Oil, Gas or bilk processing industry would be advantageous.

Demonstrable knowledge and a working understanding of risk assessment process and safe systems of work.

Computer literate in order to update all schedules electronically.

Must be physically fit.

Hold a valid UK driving licence.

The company offer a competitive package which includes:

£25,000 - £30,000

Annual bonus - this generally equates to 7% of your salary.
