A European market leader within the industrial door industry are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their home based sales team. The role offers a basic salary of up to £40,000 with a realistic first year earnings of over £60,000, 33 days holiday, 3% matched contribution pension scheme, company vehicle of your choice (within reason, must be practical!), laptop, mobile phone.

The company have a very low turnover of staff and are looking for individuals who are interested in a long and fruitful career. They are prepared to consider candidates without sales experience but have a solid understanding of the sales process within the construction industry.

To be considered for this Door Engineer role you must have:


  • Technical background within the industrial door industry or a proven track record in a sales team within the door industry.
  • Experienced in selling a "service" as well as physical product sales.
  • Must have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Positive approach towards a target driven environment.
  • Experience selling to contractors, architects, and end users.


  • Work closely with the service team to manage customer expectations
  • Work proactively to keep a busy sales pipeline
  • Raise and chase quotations to maximise sales
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts
  • Liaise with all business departments to ensure a smooth process for the customer
  • Win new business and develop the existing client base
  • Organise visit's to key clients
