A specialist provider of additive manufacturing machinery is seeking a Current Product Engineer to join their highly skilled R&D department. Based in Aylesbury, you will benefit from a starting salary of £42,000 (depending on experience), 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), hybrid working, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and international working experience.

As Current Product Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Design and development of existing products.
• Produce high detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly.
• Generation and management of BOMs
• Interface with outside vendors for component selection.
• Research and analyse design proposals, specifications, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of design applications.
• Project based activities, working individually and frequently as part of a team across the company departments both in the UK and internationally.

To be a successful Current Product Engineer you will have:

• Experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, welded assemblies, large assemblies (6oo parts across multiple levels), High tolerance machined parts and additive manufacturing (desired).
• Proven experience in designing industrial machinery and producing high quality technical drawings.
• 3D CAD (such as CREO, Solidworks, solid-works).

As a Current Product Engineer, you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes:
