A specialist provider of additive manufacturing machinery is seeking an R&D Engineer to join their highly skilled R&D department. Based in Aylesbury, you will benefit from a starting salary of £45,000 (depending on experience), 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, bonus scheme and international working experience.

As an R&D Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Assist in the development of new products and features.
• Developing robust planning based on a problem, challenge, or hypothesis.
• Produce system requirement documents.
• Testing and evaluating work.
• Research and validate component and materials options.
• Implement or handover researched solutions.
• Identify necessary activities, resources, pathway and test methodologies.

To be a successful R&D Engineer you will have:

• Experience as an R&D Engineer or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Lasers, Fluid transfer).
• Qualified to degree level in either:
  • Bachelors in relevant discipline, plus 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Masters in relevant discipline, plus 3 years relevant work experience.
• Beckhoff or other PLC control.
• Experience in Stereolithography, DLP or other photopolymer 3D printing technologies.
• 3D CAD (such as CREO, Solidworks, solid-works).
• Ability to handle several ongoing projects and prioritise/organise own workload.
