A Structural Warranty Provider seeks a Building Surveyor to oversee construction of varied residential developments in their South Manchester region. Starting salary from £43,000 to £50,000. Regular salary reviews, bonus, enhanced pension, healthcare, chartership funding where required, with the opportunity for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction / conversion of properties to achieve compliance with latent defect insurance standards
• Provide quality assessments, report on defects, structural faults and recommendations to clients
• Schedule own workload and ensure efficiency during site visits
• Record inspections and relay findings to customers as required
• Advise the underwriting team on technical queries
• Balance insurer and client expectations

Requirements

• Relationship management
• Problem solving capability
• Foundation to completion site experience
• Existing structural warranty risk management surveying experience preferred
• Degree/ NVQ Level 6 qualified
• RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI membership desirable
