Senior Maintenance Technician

£35000 - £40000 per annum inclusive of shift allowance

The company are one the world's leading skincare brands and they are looking to grow their UK based team with the opening of a new R&D facility. Due to the current expansion they now have an opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the business.

The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks across the site including maintenance, installation, repair, testing of plant manufacturing equipment and also some building maintenance.

The role works to a shift system of 8.00am - 4.00pm and 4.00pm - midnight rotating.

Key duties of the Senior Maintenance Technician:

Compiling and completing various quality systems and safety documentation

Carry out work to predefined schedules with minimal impact to production.

Liaise with your peers within the business covering maintenance, manufacturing, utility plant and lab services.

Compliance with good manufacturing processes and company regulations is a must for all work carried out.

Provide training for staff, clients and projects.

Some responsibility will be taken for building, utility and production equipment.

All documentation to include maintenance reports, forms and plans to be kept up to date.

Skills and experience required of the Senior Maintenance Technician:

Qualified to degree level or within a relevant engineering discipline, preferably mechanical.

Maintenance experience to include mechanical, plant and building.

Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic principals including the use of power and hand tools.

Physically fit to perform general labour duties as and when required.

Experience of working in an FDA regulated environment.

Excellent communication skills

Competent computer skills
