EC&I Integrity Engineer

£55000 - £60000 per annum excellent benefits

One of the worlds most recognised energy businesses are looking to appoint an experienced EC&I Integrity Engineer to bolster their engineering operations across 3 major sites. The role is permanent and comes with a competitive salary and benefits package you would expect from a global company.

As the EC&I Engineer you will define strategy, identify standards and ensure compliance with legislation and corporate standards for electrical power, control and safety systems.

Key responsibilities:

Accountable for the development and implementation of asset strategies and technical requirements including but not limited to HV and LV distribution.

Inspections and testing of power distribution systems and electrical equipment including ATEX.

Review and approve inspection reports declaring assets fit for service.

Ensure functional safety assessments and the adequate maintenance of functional safety management systems.

Provide input into annual Revex and Capex programmes.

Share and implement industry engineering best practice.

Provide technical advice and support to managers and maintenance teams on all aspects of EC&I

Accountable for the electrical rule book and SPA for live working.

Act as the focal point for competent authority enquiries regarding EC&I.

Provide support across multi sites.

Key knowledge and experience:

Degree educated within EC&I or related discipline.

Chartered engineering status would be beneficial.

Experience within the oil, gas or chemical industries.

Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, control systems and ATEX

Exposure to bulk fuel storage and terminal operations.

Working knowledge of electrical industry standards including BS7671, BS61936, BS6867, BS6626 AND en15257

The package on offer is as follows:

£55,000 - £60,000
