Project Manager

Location: Sunbury on Thames

Salary: £45k with yearly company performance related bonus scheme

The company are a growing process business who supply their products to an assortment of industries (process, energy & renewables, water). They currently have a work force circa to 40 and the Managing Director is keen to expand on this for 2018. Due to continued growth of customers and new projects, they now have a requirement for a Project Engineer to join the business. This will be joining the projects team and reporting to head of projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage projects from inception through to completion with close control of budgets and delivery timescales

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally

Identify and convert business opportunities into projects

Raise awareness of the company's capabilities with customers

Comply with the company's quality management system, HSE and procedures

Manage projects within tight timescales & budgets

Source and manage third party suppliers

Plan and manage the use of in-house engineering/electrical/technical resources in the optimisation of project expenditure

Develop and maintain long-term personal relationships with customers

Prepare written proposals in support of new business opportunities

Requirements:

Experience Projects Engineer or Project Manager

Strong background in process engineering

Product background needs to be process (pressure systems, pipework, digestion, filtration, pressure vessels, process plant, Silos)

Industry: Water, Oil & Gas, Food, FMCG, Chemical, Beverage

Understanding of process drawings (P&ID, PFD)

Degree in relevant engineering discipline preferred

Ability to monitor and maintain control over budgets
