£32000 - £36000 per annum

Job Details

A successful organisation specialising in the Design, Production and Maintenance of aircraft interiors are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their expanding team. The role is to support the current team on all aspects of product assurance, product, and the integrity of the design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer are as follows:

  • Production and Review of First Article Inspection Reports
  • Conduct Supplier Audits to AS9100 standard
  • Managing/resolving quality engineering issues from production, customer rejects and drive supplier related issues using 5Y or 8D principles
  • Monitoring and Measuring of KPIs
  • To ensure that the processes in place are maintained, including Design, Calibration and Release to customer's various requirements


  • Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification is desirable
  • Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer/Inspector
  • Experience of FAIRS visual and dimensional inspection to customer drawings and/or sample parts
  • Conversant in AS standards, EASA Part 21J, CAA Part 21G, CAA Part 145, GCAA Approval
  • Computer literate with the ability to use both MRP and Microsoft Software
  • Familiar with Quality tools and techniques - Root cause analysis e.g. 5Y, 8D, etc
