EC&I Engineer

Location: Twickenham area

Salary: £40k to £50k with yearly company performance related bonus scheme

The company are a growing process business who supply their products to an assortment of industries (Process, Energy & Renewables, Water). They currently have a work force circa to 40 and the Managing Director is keen to expand on this for 2018. Due to continued growth of customers and new projects, they now have a requirement for an EC& I Engineer to join the business. This will be joining the process engineering team.

Experienced Controls Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers, Electrical Controls, EC&I and Electrical Process Engineers will all be considered.


Comply with the company's health and safety, environmental and quality management systems

Support sales activities by producing accurately estimated design solutions to meet customer requirements

Develop technical specifications, specify process instrumentation and produce electrical drawings for the control/electrical design element of rigs, skids and pilot plants

Support the construction, fault finding, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing for the process control / electrical element of rigs, skids and pilot plants

Manage sub-contracted electrical design / build work, where necessary

Provide maintenance and breakdown support for electrical / control systems

To provide regular progress reports to management

Respond to customer requests for information, reports and progress updates


Preferably degree qualified in Electrical Engineering

Process control and Electrical Design experience

17th addition preferred but not essential

Competent user of CAD packages (Electrical in particular)

Rig commissioning

Production of formal documents, e.g. FDS, SOP, project brief, reports, etc.

Cost-estimating potential control / electrical systems

Fault-finding on electrical systems

Using MS Office applications
