As part of their continuous improvement strategy they are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer into their manufacturing operations.
Ensure corrective actions are carried out in a timely manner.
Identify improvement opportunities, appropriately prioritise and manage the conclusion.
Review existing quality control procedures and implement enhancements.
Drive cultural change to encourage right first time culture.
Manage and maintain the continuous improvement process.
Work with all levels in quality control compliance and improvement.
Enhance customer complaint and internal non-conformance investigations.
Maintain all quality records, control plans and checklists.
Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve KPI's
Skills and experience:
HNC in Metallurgy, Materials Science or engineering related discipline.
Experience of ISO9001
Heavy engineering / manufacturing background would be a distinct advantage.
Must come from a manufacturing quality environment.
