Working for a large, multi-national engineering corporation an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Planner to join their established team. Based within a manufacturing facility the role offers a competitive salary, quarterly bonus, contributory pension and the chance to further develop and progress within the company.
As the Production Planner you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the effective operation of established procedures and systems dealing with all aspects of orders through an assigned area.
Maintaining inventories at agreed levels using appropriate systems ensuring that account is taken of current yield trends and the realistic processing of materials to meet customer demands.
Provide an effective control interface in terms of accuracy data and resources to provide a proper level of service.
Keep all records up to date via SAP to ensure that production is maximised.
To be successful in the role of Production Planner you will have:
Demonstrable experience of a production planning function within a manufacturing / engineering environment.
Fully competent with SAP - this is the company's operating system.
Experience within heavy industry would be a distinct advantage.
The company offer an excellent benefits package including:
£23,000 - £26,000
Quarterly bonus - this equates to 10% of your base salary over the year.
Contributory pension - the company will contribute 5%
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
