Working for the UK's leader within operational service and support to the onshore pipeline sector an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their established, operational team in the Hemel Hempstead area has arisen.
As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
Maintenance and inspection services to maintain 98% plant availability targets.
Work to planned maintenance and inspection procedures and schedules.
Respond to corrective maintenance and inspection defects, maintaining records and plant history files as appropriate.
Provide operational support as may be required and respond to emergency situation.
Supervise colleagues and contractors in safe systems of work.
Participate in out of hours call out roster in response to breakdowns, system alarms and other operational requirements.
To be successful as the Mechanical Engineer, in this role you will have:
Hold a recognised qualification in a relevant mechanical or engineering discipline - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent standard.
Experienced in maintenance and fault finding of mechanical plant and equipment.
Knowledge of safe working practices.
Be used to working outdoors.
Full UK driving licence essential.
The company offer a competitive package which includes:
£29,000 - £35,000 - inclusive of allowances
Annual bonus - this generally equates to 8% of your base salary.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
