Due to a record breaking first half of 2018 one of the leading providers of operational service to the onshore oil, gas and utilities sector are looking to expand with the appointment of a graduate level Mechanical Project Engineer to join their head office team on a permanent basis.
As the Mechanical Project Engineer you will be tasked with:
Provide project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
Prepare project plans and programmes to ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and client satisfaction.
Ensure agreed man-hour and cost targets are adhered to through effective financial control.
Provide appropriate mechanical engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards.
Prepare contract documentation for procurement of services and materials.
Estimates and technical input for proposals to prospective clients.
The ideal Mechanical Project Engineer will possess the following:
HND or degree educated within a relevant mechanical discipline.
Experience within oil, gas or associated facilities.
Knowledge in the appropriate engineering discipline in the design of oil and gas pipelines.
Computer literate in normal office software applications.
Valid UK driving licence.
