The company are leaders in providing operational service and support to the onshore Oil and Gas pipelines industry. Due to expansion they have a new requirement for a HR Advisor to join the business. Key duties of the HR Advisor will be:
Oversee the majority of recruitment in the business at what is a very busy time.
Draft all internal advertisements and bulletins.
Liaise with specified agency contacts.
Take an active part in interviewing candidates along with departmental managers.
Coach Managers through the interview process.
Be able to disagree with managers at time to ensure processes are kept fair.
Compile offer packs and offer letters.
Participate in inductions - this can be at head office and other sites.
Site visits required on occasions
Attend Performance Reviews, Disciplinaries
Requirements for the Advisor:
Previous experience as a HR Advisor is essential
Working for an engineering or manufacturing business
Experienced in recruitment within HR
Knowledge/Experience (disciplinaries, grievances, interviewing etc)
Strong understanding of employment law
Computer literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Flexible to travel to sites throughout the UK as and when required

Salary: £30k to £35k
Averaging 8% contribution Pension

Hire Car available for off site visits
Business mileage paid at 45p per mile
