Senior Project Manager

£55000 - £65000 per annum car allowance

An Approved Inspector, specialising within Building Control within education, healthcare, leisure and commercial sectors are now looking to appoint a Senior Building Control Surveyor into a Senior Project Management position. Salary will be dependent on experience but this can be expected to be above £50,000 with a car allowance and 30 days annual leave.

The Company

Offering Building Control and Fire Safety services to a variety of clients, including nationally recognised companies, this company operate throughout the UK. They have been an Approved Inspector for approx. 20 years and have therefore built a strong reputation and a talented workforce.

The Role

This role would be perfect for a Building Control Surveyor or Project Manager looking to take a Senior Project Management position for this Approved Inspector. You will play a key role in the expansion of the Kent office and the progression of staff. Key details of the role include:

  • Maintain a portfolio of projects for existing clients.
  • Develop new business.
  • Site inspections and plan checking.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to builders and architects.
  • Complete appraisals with Building Control Surveyors within the office.
  • Play a role in the recruitment process of Surveyors, Project Managers and administration staff with full support from company directors.


  • Must be Chartered either via the RICS, CABE or CIOB route.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Building Control Surveyor or Senior Project Manager.
  • Strong H&S mindset and technical ability.
  • Confidentially able to communicate with others at all levels.

What's on offer?

  • A salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum but subject to negotiation.
