Job Details

Working for the UK's leader within operational service and support to the onshore pipeline sector an opportunity for an experienced Principal / Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join their established team has arisen.

As the Principal / Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for:

Provide project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.

Prepare project plans and programmes to ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and to client satisfaction.

Ensure agreed man hours and cost targets are adhered to through effective project and financial control.

Seek to enhance project fee where possible.

Provide appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards.

Prepare contract documentation for procurement of services and materials.

Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations for contract award.

Prepare estimates and technical input for proposals to prospective clients.

To be successful as the Principal / Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer you will have:

Degree educated or a minimum of HND in Control and Instrumentation or Electrical engineering.

Knowledge in the appropriate engineering discipline in the design, project engineering and consultancy in Oil and Gas pipelines.

Chartered engineering status - or at least near to completion.

Full UK driving licence.

The company offer a competitive package which includes:

£45,000 - £53,000

Annual bonus - this generally equates to around 7% of your base salary

Company pension scheme

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
