A multi national leader within the automatic door and entrance systems industry is looking to recruit a business leader for their depot based just south of Luton. The successful candidate needs to live within 90 minutes commute to their office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-motivated business manager to join a world leading specialist door manufacturer.

To be successful within this role you must have strong people management skills along with a proven track record delivering targeted sales growth.

You must be able to think on your feet while have a hands-on mentality, be driven and have a strong mix of sales and business to business experience.

You will be reporting to the MD, and as a business manager you will be leading the team whilst working closely with the Supply Chain Director ensuring the business runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

This role will also involve regular communication with the Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse team to deliver much needed support their customers.

As a Business Manager you be responsible for:

  • Controlling profit and growth for supply department ensuring the required budget is not exceeded.
  • Train and develop the teams knowledge regarding the supply chain.
  • Motivating the supply team to deliver a fantastic service to their customers.
  • Developing products, marketing and pricing strategies to increase the company turnover.
  • Monitoring stock and company costs, while achieving next-day delivery standards

As a Business Manager you must:

  • Be an engaging team player while remaining focused on targets and results.
  • Have the ability to motivate and develop the team whilst achieving person targets.
  • Have experience managing projects and able to accept change.
  • Have a high level of customer service.
  • Structured and thorough approach to work prioritisation and organisation
  • Have strong time management and organising skills.
  • Good understanding of spreadsheet, work processing and database program
  • The ability to work under pressure, get things done.
