A house builder, operating throughout the South East of England, are currently offering an excellent opportunity to a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to make their next move. The Role

You will work closely alongside the commercial team and act as a mentor to the Assistant Quantity Surveyors. You will play a key role in the financial success of projects. The details of the role include:

  • Overseeing the Commercial Department.
  • Complete 'Take Off's.
  • WIP and cash flow forecasting.
  • Take responsibility for sub-contractor orders.
  • Site valuations of production.
  • Report findings within meetings.

Please note the right person for this position must have some experience as a intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.


  • COINS knowledge.
  • Ideally a relevant degree e.g. commercial management, construction management or quantity surveying.
  • Business qualification or management.
  • Honest, reliable and acts with integrity.
  • Previous experience for a house builder would be ideal.
  • A team player.
  • Good level of building regulations and H&S.

In Return

In return for meeting the requirements of the role you will receive a competitive salary up to £55,000 although negotiable dependent on experience, health care, company pension and a good holiday structure. You will be given trust to complete your role to the best of your ability and be given autonomy to do so. As well as this you will join a social-able and friendly team, looking to welcome a Senior Quantity Surveyor into their Norfolk team.
