Job Details

A pioneering and market leading business providing innovative solutions to millions of homes across the UK are now looking to appoint a dynamic Quality Manager into the business to head up the QA / QC function across the group. Offering a competitive salary and benefits package this new role will be one that can develop around the individual.

You will be responsible for implementing and driving continuous improvement across company functions as well as overseeing their enterprise risk management and EHS management and approach across the business.

Key responsibilities:

Seek to continuously improve the company quality standards and overall approach.

Ensure manufacturing / assembly processes adhere to the highest standards.

Engage within company NPI processes to ensure new products adhere to the standards expected of their products.

Lead company quality accreditation and seek to maintain standards as they grow across international borders.

Undertake internal quality audits.

Participate in supplier auditing processes to ensure standards are met throughout the supply chain.

Review product quality and process systems on a regular basis and seek improvement to drive efficiencies.

Limit risk and bring down costs by implementing lean improvements - looking at compliance and QMS.

Change management and influencing key stakeholders.

Skills and experience required:

Degree educated in a related field or similar qualification within quality.

EFQM experience

Proficiency with quality management tools, applications and methodologies - ISO and Lean

Project management experience.

Six Sigma

Experience of working within a consumer goods manufacturer, plastic injection moulding would be beneficial.

The package on offer is as follows:

Salary £55,000 - £58,000

25 days holiday BH

Pension - minimum contribution from an employee will be 4% - you can pay in more if you wish and the company will match up to a maximum of 5%
