An exciting opportunity for a Test & Development Engineer to work with a new start-up. Based in Hertfordshire with Hybrid working available, this company is pushing the boundaries of IC Powertrains and hydrogen fuel cells. You will be troubleshooting and streamlining the testing procedures, confidently leading the test methodology for novel and challenging R&D projects.

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Leading the development planning efforts.
• Writing test plans and creating cases for the product.
• Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
• Confidently lead the test methodology for novel and challenging R&D projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM equivalent.
• Experience leading the design and delivery of development test activities for advanced IC powertrain technology.
• 10 years' experience within R&D and powertrain.

In return you will receive the following:

• £35-45ph (DOE)
• Outside IR35
• Minimum 3 Month Contract
