A leading manufacturer in the Automotive industry has a new opportunity for Quality Engineer to join the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career. Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:

  • Development and maintenance of Production Quality Standards and Documentations for new and existing products
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in production performance and relay significant trends that impact the products and the manufacturing operations
  • Ensure adherence and maintenance of IATF 16949
  • Conduct Internal and External Audits
  • All processes and documentation associated with the QMS is implemented, maintained and updated when necessary
  • Health and Safety requirements are adhered to
  • Improve customer satisfaction by working on set objectives
  • Participate in PPAP, FMEA, Measurement System Analysis
  • Administration of problem resolution and defect material recording and Customer Complaints

To be a successful Quality Engineer you will ideally have the following:

  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Internal auditor certification preferred.
  • Tier 1 background will give candidates a distinct advantage
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949
  • Customer facing skills

In return the Quality Engineer will be offered the following package:

  • £32k to £36k dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday with earlier finish of 2pm on Fridays
