Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas
Contract, minimum 6 month contract
The company are an expanding waste recycling company, who have won new contracts with customers based in Wolverhampton, Stoke on Trent, Shrewsbury. Successful applicants will be involved in the maintenance work of Waste Recycling Plants in the above areas. The works will be working on heavy plant equipment, ensuring the correct H&S, environment, quality and admin procedures are followed on site at all times.
Install, Maintain and repair mechanical systems on plant machinery
Fault find and rectify problems on a mixture of mechanical equipment, these include heavy conveyors, Heat Exchangers, Emissions, fuel handling, tanks and combustion.
Be expected to produce highly quality work and work alongside skilled electricians and operational staff.
Identify problematic plant and the subsequent faults. This includes root cause and finding efficient solutions to return equipment to working order
Day to day liaison with the customer
Waste Recycling or heavy plant background is required
Qualified City & Guilds trained fitter, with full time served apprenticeship
Adhere to full H&S, Environmental and Quality procedures on site.
Full UK Driving License
Experience working on any equipment. This includes, Compactors, Screeners, Balers, Shredders, and Conveyors.
Must demonstrate planning and scheduling work processes.
