£22000 - £26000 per annum

A leading consumer electronics manufacture are recruiting a junior NPI engineer to join their busy new product implementation team. Experience with Creo would be advantageous but will consider all CAD software including Solidworks.

You will be involved in the (NPI) development, support and management of products throughout their complete lifecycle from the early engineering phase through to manufacturing build and mass production.

This is a great opportunity for an assistant or graduate looking to start an NPI career with structured training and development with clear career progression.

The Role

As a NPI engineer will you be responsible for:

  • Reviewing products at build stage.
  • Conducting line audits.
  • Create comprehensive test plans.
  • Product performance analysis.
  • Driving product improvements and team communication.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Degree level or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
  • CAD such as (Pro/e, wildfire, creo, Solidworks, solid-works).
  • An understanding of injection moulding would be an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Integrity and a passion to succeed in (NPI) Engineering.
