A rapidly expanding company within the door industry are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our engineering team of over 70 people.
You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic door systems in various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service.
You’ll be paid a salary of £18ph+, paid door to door, receive 25 days holiday plus stats. Above company minimum pension. Personal health cover plus much more.
This Automatic Door Engineer role will involve:
- Install, maintain, and repair automatic door systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automatic door systems, and implement effective solutions.
- Follow EN16005 regulations and conduct regular inspections to ensure the proper functioning of automatic doors and associated components.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers and other team members as needed.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
To be considered for this Automatic Door Engineer role you must have:
- EN16005 is essential with knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to automatic doors.
- Proven experience working with automatic door systems in a technician or engineering role.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to repair various manufacturers of door systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
You will receive:
- Basic salary of £38,000+ with OT of £55,000
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
