Location: Field-based – London Area (M25 Region)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum


About the Role

We are partnering with a company specialising in premium refreshment solutions, including coffee, vending, and unattended retail services, for businesses in London and the Home Counties. Known for their commitment to innovation, technology, and customer service, they are seeking a skilled Coffee Field Service Engineer to join their team. In this role, you’ll bring your technical expertise in coffee or vending machines to maintain and repair a range of equipment for clients in the M25 region. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused professional with coffee and vending machine background to join their team. The package includes £35k-£40k basic salary, a Monday to Friday schedule with NO on call rota, door to door travel, company vehicle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, inspect, and ensure proper operation of vending and coffee machines at client premises.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
  • Respond to service calls and perform quick, effective repairs as needed.
  • Diagnose operational issues involving electrical, mechanical, or software components.
  • Order necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely follow-ups to minimise disruption for clients.

What They’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience as a Coffee Field Service Engineer, ideally with a background repairing coffee or vending machines.
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of vending/coffee machine function, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with brands like Cimbali, WMF, Coffetek, and Evoca is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, capable of explaining technical information to customers in clear terms.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or engineering fields are advantageous.
  • A valid, clean UK driving license is essential.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Travel around the London area (M25 region) to install, service, and repair equipment.
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues while building strong customer relationships on-site.
  • Maintain service records and ensure your company vehicle is fully stocked for future assignments.
