Salary upto £30k per annum. This Monday‑to‑Friday role covers a local patch across Peterborough and the surrounding areas, where you will install, service, and repair coffee machines and vending machines for an established customer base. The ideal candidate will bring strong electro‑mechanical skills along with basic plumbing knowledge or exposure, and experience from transferable sectors such as coffee or vending machines, gaming/slot machines, white goods, or the mobility industry.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer - Coffee Machines, you will:

• Install, service, and repair vending and refreshment equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines operate at peak performance.
• Install new machines and refurbish existing equipment as needed.
• Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service, ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role as Service Engineer - Coffee Machine, you should have:

• Previous experience as a vending engineer or in a similar field-based engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A reliable, self-motivated, and organised approach to work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day as Service Engineer - Coffee Machine will involve:

• Travelling to customer sites within the designated area to service and maintain coffee and vending machines.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Installing new machines and ensuring they are fully operational.
• Interacting with customers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the service provided.
• Keeping accurate records of work completed and reporting back to the team.
