FLT Field Service Engineer

We have a brand new Field Service role working for a leading materials handling manufacturer. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to cover North Yorkshire. For the right candidate, not only will you be provided with product specialised training in their fantastic factory, full door to door payment, Monday – Friday day shifts, company van with the option for personal use, full PDA system & PPE, 23 days holidays + bank holidays, opportunities for overtime and much more.

Perfect for anyone who has a Mechanical background working work Diesel, Gas or Electric engines

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

• Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnosing the nature of each query and repair with a friendly and efficient attitude.
• Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system
• Reporting to the Service Manager

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Experienced in FLT, Plant, Agriculture, and/or HGV.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant or Maintenance is preferred
• Experienced with Gas and Diesel engines, Hydraulics and Electrics

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary £30,000 - £34,000
• Overtime paid at x 1.5 hours
