I have an impressive opportunity for a Graduate Metrology Engineer to join an established development business who provides software and inspection solutions to an assortment of industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Power Generation. This is an exciting time to join the business, and this opportunity has been newly created to support them with their growth plans for 2025/2026. You will be working with a n experienced team where they all work together and discuss solutions and ideas as a team. You will be a very important cog to the wheel and your opinion counts. They are offering an impressive salary package circa to £30k to £35k (dependent on experience) with flexible working options and much more
Key responsibilities of the G raduate Metrology Engineer:
- Optim i se and develop measurement processes, enhance accuracy and efficiency
- The Metrology Engineer will assist and perform precision measurements and analysis of components and assembly products
- Designing measurement systems tailored to specific project needs.
- Analysing data using 3D Inspection Software
- Work collaboratively as a team on projects in the Aerospace, Power and Medical Industry
- Contribute to product development processes including prototyping work, design and production
- Assist in Root Cause Investigations by developing corrective/preventative actions.
- Working to industry standard accreditations (AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949)
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to maintain quality and technical integrity.
Requirements of the Graduate Metrology Engineer:
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline
- Must have some experience within their degree or after in Optical and CMM systems, preferably GOM, Zeiss, PolyWorks or MCOSMOS .
- Excellent Communication Skills
