A leading manufacturer has two new requirements for A HVAC Engineer or someone from the HVAC Industry who is experienced in servicing and repairing pumps. These are newly created opportunities, due to securing a new contract within the London area and on-going investment and growth of the business. The business is a leading name in their industry and as a result their engineers get supported with highly attractive salary and benefits packages. In terms of basic salary, they are offering a figure circa to £38k to £42k basic with a London Weighting from 13% to 18% uplift, Fully Expenses Vehicle allowed for personal usage, Door to Door payments, time and half over a 40-hour week, Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme and much more.
Details of the role.
The HVAC Engineer will report to the National Engineering Manager and working with a team of colleagues within the Service and Technical Support team.
Ensuring the repair, service and maintenance work of pumps as per the company’s specification and as required by the customer in line with their expectations. To co-ordinate an effective service operation from a designated home base.
- The HVAC Engineer will carry out visible and technical assessments of breakdowns and work to be completed on all equipment.
- Ensure all task-related documentation is completed upon conclusion of each service activity, including obtaining customer signatures on manned sites. Submit all completed documentation to the office daily via remote access.
- Effective communication with our internal service department is paramount to ensure seamless coordination, timely updates.
- Issue point of work risk assessments and method statements.
- Carry out commissioning, maintenance, installation, and warranty work on required products
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements of they have and any sites being visited.
- Complete mandatory company health & safety training courses, where required.
- Ensure that any defects to equipment or tools are reported immediately to the Service office
- Participate in any multi-skilling programme to broaden both your own individual skills and experience and provide flexibility for service operations
- Take full ownership and responsibility for all service tasks undertaken, ensuring they are completed to a high standard, within agreed timeframes, and in alignment with company policies and customer expectations
- Impart technical advice to the client or obtain further advice and report back to the client.
Requirements:
- Experienced HVAC Engineer or Pump Engineer who have experience in servicing and repairing water pumps.
- Experienced field base engineer
- We will look at engineers inside the M25 and home counties, as they require two people
- Mechanical competences are essential, but electrical qualified is not required.
- Confident in using CRM systems
- Adhering to H&S practices
- DBS check is mandatory
