Role Summary for the Principal Engin eer

You'll lead the design and development of vehicle components — especially chassis and powertrain — ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, and specification requirements. As a Principal Design team member, you'll handle more complex technical tasks and play a key role in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities for the Principal Engineer

• Deliver component design (chassis/powertrain) to defined targets.
• Liaise with specialists and chief engineers to meet project goals.
• Ensure alignment with cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate across teams and suppliers to enhance efficiency.
• Support project planning and risk escalation.
• Assist with additional projects and duties as required.

Requirements for the Principal Engineer

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in CREO and surface modelling.
• Automotive/motorcycle industry design experience preferred.
• Strong technical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and performance targets.
