Your Role: Driving Value and Performance
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the financial and contractual aspects of assigned projects to control costs, maximise value recovery, and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery aligned with company standards.
Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit valuations and applications for payment.
- Ensure timely certification and manage cash collection, including retentions.
- Collaborate closely with Project and Site Managers to align financial and operational goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments.
- Keep clients informed with regular draft final accounts and financial updates.
- Maintain comprehensive and digitised contract records.
- Support the commercial development of Major Works initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in quantity surveying, particularly within mechanical or engineering environments.
Quantity Surveyor Skills & Experience:
- Solid understanding of Standard Forms of Contracts.
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a technical or engineering context.
- Strong planning and self-assessment capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
