Sales Manager

I am pleased to present a new opportunity for an exceptional Sales Manager to join an independent and highly successful Lift Service company based in Kent. With owners who together have over 50 years of combined industry expertise, they have developed a portfolio of customers and consultants to deliver new lift installations and modernisation.

You will be an established senior sales professional with expert lift industry knowledge, a proven ability to deliver detailed and accurate tender & bid submissions, thrive in a target driven environment, and thoroughly enjoy building relationships and providing solutions.

The team of 6 Sales individuals pride themselves on being passionate, friendly, and providing the utmost professional service internally and externally. You will be joining a business with an established and high-achieving sales team who are looking for a like-minded individual to join them in their success.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage detailed and accurate tender bid submissions, working with suppliers to get the right quotations, ensuring competitiveness.
• Build lasting partnerships with clients and consultants.
• Secure new contracts and identity business opportunities.
• Be a leader for the Sales team, coach and mentor sales executives.
• Lead commercial growth providing solutions, managing client accounts, and hitting revenue and growth targets.

Key requirements:

• Strong senior-level sales experience within the lift industry is essential.
• Proven experience preparing detailed and accurate tender and bid submissions.
• Commercially driven and target focused.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A solutions-focused approach to winning and developing business.
• Be able to work on-site 5 days per week at the office in Kent along with client visits.

What’s on offer:

• £60,000 – £80,000 basic salary
• Fully achievable annual bonus scheme based on the sales team performance

• Based fully on-site in Kent, with travel to customer sites of which 80% are London based
