A fast-growing coffee machine provider is continuing its expansion and has created an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Technical Trainer to join their team. Based in Coventry’s brand-new, purpose-built showroom, this role offers the perfect blend of hands-on technical expertise and the rewarding challenge of developing others. With the salary of up to £50k, 25 days of annual leave and a Monday–Friday schedule without weekend rota or bank holiday work this job opportunity has great work life balance. As a Technical Trainer, you’ll play a central role in shaping the skills and confidence of engineers across the business. You’ll bring complex technical knowledge, creating training that is clear, engaging, and practical. Whether you’re delivering sessions in person or virtually, you’ll be the person who helps engineers grow their capability, deepen their understanding of Coffee Machines and Hydration equipment, and deliver exceptional service out in the field. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll identify training needs, design meaningful learning experiences, and ensure every engineer has the tools and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities of a Coffee Machine Technical Trainer:
- Deliver engaging training sessions — both classroom-based and virtual — on Coffee Machines and Hydration equipment to build technical knowledge across Field Engineering Teams and other internal departments.
- Create high‑quality training materials, guides, and SOPs that support safe, efficient, and best‑practice working methods aligned with evolving technology.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to identify training needs and develop solutions that support operational goals
- Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and reports to support individual development plans and track training progress.
Qualifications of a Coffee Machine Technical Trainer:
- Experience working as a technical trainer or in a similar technical, educational, or training-focused role.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes relating to Coffee Machines and Hydration equipment.
- Proven experience in designing training programs and delivering technical content to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex technical topics into clear, accessible explanations.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for both in‑person and virtual training environments.
- Proficiency with training platforms, presentation tools, and relevant technical tools used within the subject area.
