You will have completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and hold a City & Guilds (or equivalent). An ONC or HNC is desirable but not essential.
With proven experience as a Toolmaker and/or precision engineering, you will be able to operate and maintain press machinery and be conversant with all traditional machining and fitting practices. Ideally you will have experience of working with a CAD-CAM package.
You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.
As a Toolmaker you must also be able to work collaboratively with high quality standards and an excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.
